1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SalaryAsk (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

SalaryAsk is a salary negotiation tool that helps users benchmark job offers, develop negotiation strategies, generate negotiation scripts, and practise salary conversations. The Service is provided for informational and practice purposes only.

3. No professional advice

Nothing on SalaryAsk constitutes legal, financial, employment, or professional career advice. The market data, strategies, and scripts generated are based on general benchmarks and your inputs — they may not reflect your specific employer, industry, or jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for any negotiation decisions you make.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Payments and refunds

One-time sessions ($19). Payment is charged at the time of purchase and grants access to the full features of a single negotiation session. Due to the immediate delivery of digital content, one-time purchases are non-refundable once the session has been analysed.

Subscriptions ($9/month). Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

If you experience a billing error or technical issue that prevented access to a paid feature, contact us at shivakumar.sm097@gmail.com and we will resolve it promptly.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the Service
  • Share account credentials or resell access to the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

7. Intellectual property

The SalaryAsk platform, branding, and generated content templates are owned by SalaryAsk. The negotiation strategies, scripts, and emails generated using your inputs are yours to use for your own personal salary negotiations.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that using SalaryAsk will result in a higher salary offer, a successful negotiation, or any particular outcome. Market data is provided as a general benchmark and may not reflect current conditions in your specific market.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalaryAsk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity or failed negotiations.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
